EAT REAL .
With that slogan, my epi-heart can't of course NOT eat there.
Madrid can boast some healthy food stores, but the "honest greens." belongs to my favorites. Here the eye eats too, the taste is heavenly and you notice that they really use high quality food.
The interior is relatively simple, but still stylish. We work a lot with wood and rustic materials. Since light is warm, if you want to make beautiful pictures, you should be prepared for them to have an orange tone. When one enters the restaurant, one passes a long showcase in which one can already see the prepared individual dishes. Ordering is done at a counter. There, one gets his drink and a pager that would theoretically vibrate when the food is ready. But you actually get your food served at the table - how exactly this works is a mystery to me. Especially because the restaurant is relatively large and full to the brim.
The map is constructed so that one can choose between a protein base or a salad base. You can choose between different sauces or toppings. The result is a colourfully filled plate, as we like to prepare in our Epi-Food kitchen. There is fish, meat, vegan, gluten-free, in the end everything the Epi-Foodie heart desires.
I found the prices for what you get to be relatively fair. You can catch as much water as you like and a normal plate is enough. Of course my greedy eyes ordered more than necessary and in addition to my extra bowl toppings I also added a huge portion of hummus.
The food is arranged like an Instagram Buddha Bowl, nicely garnished and really sufficient.
In terms of taste nobody was disappointed either. All dishes were very well seasoned. The falafel were super fresh and juicy, the vegan aioli a dream and I don't want to start with the tuna at all, because then the water runs into my mouth again.
The waitresses were very friendly, but there was little contact to them anyway.
I would definitely visit this restaurant again and definitely try the sweet potato chips. Besides, I wouldn't eat anything the whole day before, so that I could let off steam with the dessert menu afterwards. Unfortunately, my stomach was too small for that, after I had already tried Madrid before.
