Some people can eat whatever they want and still have a baby's butt skin, while others can see every single crumb of chocolate on their faces. I belong to the latter category: Alex, 25 years old and arrived in late puberty. It is and remains a tiresome topic. When I was 19 I got extremely bad skin, but after antibiotic therapy I got it under control. Whether this was a good idea, I cannot say today. Every now and then my skin blossomed, but now after 6 years it was so far again that I did not want to go out of the house any more and rather wanted to crawl into a dark hole to feel sorry for myself.
My symptoms Inflamed areas, especially in the chin and cheek area, which multiply and hurt. substructures Oily skin Dry skin at the same time Pustules on the neck in the lymph area
My current situation: I had to move from Berlin to Munich. Slept two months in a walk-through room with a carpet that was down. Dust and grass allergy PCO syndrome, i.e. disturbed hormone function The pill was discontinued in October 2017 and no period has elapsed since then. No regulated everyday life A lot of work No alcohol since December 2017 No smoking I do not eat animal milk products, household sugar and wheat flour products.
What have I changed lately? Since 2 weeks in cosmetic treatment at Med Natura & Med Aesthetics Masks and creams made by the beautician Regularly Luvos Healing Earth Mask Care products greatly reduced (currently PreCleanse from Dermalogica, cleansing gel from the Med series from dm, Helios sun cream, rose hip oil, at best no make-up, otherwise from the beautician or Vichy Dermablend) sounds a lot, but is for my previous circumstances little. Own room with wooden floor without carpet Zinc tablets Probiolac (probiotic capsules) Many anti-inflammatory foods: ginger, turmeric Many bitter substances: rocket, fenugreek clover sprouts Since 2 days every morning: MSM Since 2 days 2 x daily SILICEA (silicic acid gel) No starchy carbohydrates (no cereals, but beans and chickpeas are ok)
My course:
First cosmetic treatment: Procedure: 1. fruit acid peeling 2. cleansing (super painful) 3. radiofrequency treatment: disinfecting 4. snail mucus, vitamins and ultrasound treatment. 5. soothing mask. Olga, my beautician said that we can manage and I probably need 3 sessions to get everything under control again. At home she gave me a mask, make-up and a sun cream made by her.
During the week: Unfortunately I had to work the whole day on the second day and had a lot of make-up on my face. The next morning my skin was totally inflamed and I couldn't look at myself in the mirror anymore without crying. Since it didn't get better the next morning either, despite masks and no make-up - but worse, I decided to drink only bought water from glass bottles. In my opinion I could already feel on the second day how at least the inflammations went back.
Second cosmetic treatment: 1. fruit acid 2. cleansing 3. mask 4. radio frequency 5. mask removed 6. skin moisturized 7. protective mantle-building oil and toned day cream for highly sensitive skin. Olga was a little disappointed about the condition of my skin, because she had promised herself more, so she told me that 3 treatments were not enough for me. I also got a new mask and make-up (green pigments, foudation, moisture & oil).
During the week: 2 days after the treatment only disinfectant, at least 24 hours no water, hair and hands from the face. In addition, I finally got my own room during the week: so rest, no carpet, my own free space without dust... I also left out starchy carbohydrates, added tofu, ginger, turmeric and bitter substances to my diet. When an old silica capsule fell into my hands, I remembered that I had used silica gel at the time and that it really did my hat good - so I bought it immediately. After 2 days, however, my skin was in a condition I didn't really like, so I was #shameonme in my face myself. On the same day I also started with SILICEA and - friends - since I have been taking MSM in the morning and drinking SILICEA (silicic acid gel) throughout the day I notice an enormous difference in my skin. I have the feeling that my skin was screaming for silicic acid. Maybe it's just the overall condition, but I can advise everyone to try the money. I also try to do a sports session every day to get my circulation going. Firstly because it stimulates the metabolism and thus the cell renewal and secondly because you detoxify while sweating at the same time, which is in principle a good starting point for bad skin.
Third cosmetic treatment: Juhuuuuuuuuuu - Olga, my beautician, also said that things are finally getting better. On the one hand I conclude that I finally have my own room, that I have changed my diet so that I no longer eat starchy carbohydrates, fenugreek sprouts, turmeric and ginger, that I have restricted the consumption of fruits, that I no longer drink tap water, that I consume MSM and silicic acid gel. I don't take zinc tablets or probiotic capsules anymore. My care routine: In the morning - Dermalogica PreCleanse, then Helios LSF 100 (no make-up) In the evening - Dermalogica PreCleanse, sometimes cleansing gel from the Balea Med series from Dm, sometimes Luvos healing clay and the face mask Olga prepared for me. Last week, at the very end, I applied a little rosehip oil to my skin, especially after making a Luvos healing clay mask. Now for the cosmetic treatment: 1. fruit acid peeling 2. sebaceous gland softening foam as a steam alternative 3. purification 4. radio frequency treatment 5. mask 6. care with different active ingredients and tinted day cream. My homework: The first 24 hours I may not wash my face again water, instead I clean my face carefully with a cotton pad that I have sprayed before a little with alcohol-free disinfectant. (morning and evening). On the second evening I start to apply the mask I made with Olga to my cleaned face in the evening. On the 5th day I apply a Salycil mask in the evening, which I won't wash off and sleep with. 7 days later I have my next treatment with her. On Monday, so in 5 days I do a check of my intestinal flora with Ana Wimmer, the owner of the cosmetic studio, who is also a naturopath. Until then I order the following products to bring my hormone balance back into balance:
Maria Treben Schwedentropfen (recommended to me by Ana): Should help with detoxification
Monk's Pepper (in liquid form, as tablets and capsules usually contain lactose): should help to regulate his cycle.
Black cohosh ((in liquid form, since tablets and capsules usually contain lactose): should also help to regulate its cycle
Sheeparbe (tea)
Yesterday evening I talked to Sebastian from live-better, who is a nutritionist for functional nutrition and also deals with epigenetics. He had helpful tips regarding the balancing of hormones. Women need to suppress bad estrogens, lower testosterone levels and stimulate progesterone, as well as cortisol levels (stress hormone). On the one hand, you can supplement phytoestrogens, but it is much more important to influence your hormone production positively, so that the body creates a hormone balance of its own. It is therefore important to promote positive oestrogens and to channel "bad" oestrogens out of the body or to deactivate them. This works best with intestinal rehabilitation and the appropriate natural remedies, such as monk's pepper, grape silver candelabra and yarrow, as listed above, and he has also mentioned passion flower.
Fourth cosmetic treatment: FINALLY is finally satisfied with the progress of my skin. During this treatment she started using medicinal fruit acid and warned me that my skin could flake. Spoiler - she didn't and that's really a mystery to me. The course of treatment: 1. fruit acid treatment 2. neutralization of fruit acid 3. sebaceous softener 4. purification 5. radio frequency treatment 6. mask 7. various active ingredients + Oil Free Matte SPF 30 from Dermalogica.
During the week: 48 hours again nothing should be in my face, on the 2nd morning then immediately the mask made by Olga. In the evening I will go jogging and then make a healing clay mask. From the 4th day I will use Olga's mask again in the evening. And from the 5th day additionally the Sali zinc of NeoStrata as night care use. Since my skin finally regenerates, we strongly conclude that my skin tolerates Sali Zinc very well. I also continue to use the PreCleanse from Dermalogica and then the cleansing gel from the Balea Med series. Kindly sponsored by Dermalogica I got some products sent to me, which I will take with me next week to cosmetics and agree with Olga when I shall use which product. I had already bought the PreCleanse and am very satisfied so far. Furthermore, I have now introduced a new daily routine in my diet.
Every morning: 40 drops Agnolyt MADAUS mixed with water (chaste mud fruits) 1 spoon MSM powder dissolved in water 1 zinc tablet 3000 vitamin D sheep's tea 1 tsp Maria Treben Swedish drops mixed with water
Every evening: Before dinner 20 drops of Cimicifuga comp. of Weleda (grape silver candle) mixed with water Before going to sleep go 1 teaspoon of ground psyllium husks mixed with water. Sheep Tea
In addition, I do a lot of sports for my standards. On the days when I shouldn't let anything touch my face I don't do sports, but on all other days I try to jog at least 10-15 minutes a day in such a way that I sweat. Most of the time I sprint to the end until I can't do any more. I also go to yoga or Pilates once a week at the FitStar in Munich or go to the FitX in Munich and train according to my own training schedule. The latter usually consists of a treadmill, HIT workout or various exercises and cycling. I do this to get my circulation and metabolism going. This helps with cell renewal and to bring my cycle back into harmony. Summer is also on the horizon and I have planned #sixpackgoals for 2018. By the way, I am currently trying on vegan protein powders. Read more!
Fifth cosmetic treatment (06.06.18): It is my last treatment for the time being and to be honest I am happy to let some rest come. Weekly cleansing is a bit of a matter of substance. Unfortunately it is very painful, but we all know the saying "If you want to be beautiful, you have to suffer" and unfortunately it is true from time to time. This time was even particularly bad, because the day before I was awake for 40 hours at a time and could also sleep in the night before the cosmetic treatment unfortunately only 5 hours. About the course of the treatment: 1. fruit acid treatment 2. neutralization of the fruit acid 3. sebaceous gland softening agent 4. purification - this time really long, because Olga wanted to have everything out as well as possible. 5. volcanic earth mask + moisturizing mask 7. various active ingredients + Oil Free Mat SPF 30 from Dermalogica. Olga had some time after the treatment to clarify my future care routine with me and gave me product recommendations, which I should definitely try out.
During the week: Once again 48 hours nothing in the face, accordingly I also did no sports. Afterwards same as usual: In the morning my cleaning: PreCleanse by Dermalogica, Dermal Clay Cleanse, the "make-up" made by Olga. It contains several active ingredients and a hint of make-up, so it's more of a tinted moisturizer. In the evening she mixed a mask of volcanic earth and moisture together. My cosmetic appointments were always Wednesdays, that is until Friday morning only alcohol-free disinfectant to dab my skin (Omni Sept), then my usual cleaning and Olgas care put together. As of Sunday, the 5th day, I make the SaliZinc Gel from NeoStrata wafer-thin on my face in the evening as the last step. It is important to mention that the last step in my morning routine is to apply Heliocare's Oil-free with LSF 50+ to my face and neck. I spent the weekend in Berlin because I really wanted to go to the sea and I have to say that it worked very well with my care routine even when travelling. My dietary supplements all fit in a toilet bag and the care products as well. On Saturday after the beach, however, my skin was very bad. We wanted to go to a bar opening and I wasn't on the verge of coming along. These moments really go to my psyche. But since I lived with friends whom I didn't want to disappoint with the fact that I didn't come with them and they talked good to me, I came with them and even got compliments about my radiation. There were three alternatives for me: 1. don't come with me (boring), 2. smear make-up on my face and risk my skin getting worse again or 3. apply Olga's not very covering cream, emphasize my eyes, dress me up and ignore the impure skin, bite my teeth together and laugh away. I chose the third option and had a really nice evening that I would otherwise have missed and felt sorry for myself instead.
14.06.2018 My skin is so much better than it was a month and a half ago. Furthermore, I maintain my daily routine in nutritional supplements and skin care. I also go to yoga regularly and try to run or go to the gym as often as I can, as sport is very important to get the circulation and metabolism going. In my current diet I do not eat starchy carbohydrates as far as possible, but make sure that I have a sufficient intake of vitamin C, B12, vitamin D, zinc and omega-3 fatty acids. I also eat quite a lot of eggs - for whatever reason my body is extremely eager for them. At the moment my daily routine is as follows.
Every morning: 40 drops Agnolyt MADAUS mixed with water (chaste mud fruits) 1 spoon MSM powder dissolved in water 1 zinc tablet 1000 vitamin D Zinc Tablet sheep's tea 1 tsp Maria Treben Swedish drops mixed with water Smoothie Bowl with frozen bananas, plant milk, linseed, turmeric, ginger and other ingredients containing antioxidants, vitamin C and a detoxifying effect, e.g. frozen spinach. Or I eat an omelette. + classy morning dose of coffee
During the day: at least 1.5 litres of water distributed throughout the day. If no sun shines another 1000er vitamin D NOT SUBCONSCIOUS INTO THE FACE LONG (easier said than done)
In the evening: Before dinner 20 drops of Cimicifuga comp. of Weleda (grape silver candle) mixed with water 1000 Vitamin D Tablet sheep's tea
care routine
In the morning 0. PreCleanse (Dermalogica) 1st Dermal Clay Cleanse (Dermalogica) --> distribute it with movements from bottom to top on my face. 2nd Microfoliant (Dermalogica) 3. Active Moist with Skin Hydrating Booster from Dermalogica or the tinted care from Olga 4. sun protection LSF 50: Oil-free gel from Heliocare
In the evening: 0. PreCleanse (Dermalogica) 1st Dermal Clay Cleanse (Dermalogica) --> distribute it with movements from bottom to top on my face. 2nd Microfoliant (Dermalogica) 3. face mask: alternately sebum clearing mask of Dermalogica or Luvos Immutox healing clay 4. SaliZinc Gel from Neostrata
--> In the next days I will use the Intensive Eye Therapy from NeoStrata in the morning and change from SaliZinc Gel to Redox Cream. I would also like to switch to a fruit acid-based cleansing gel in the evening, but I will take some time to get my skin used to the current fruit acid products.
So much for the current situation. Here at I would like to mention again that I have PCOS, so my hormones play Punch and Judy and thus have an increased sebum production, but my skin very quickly horny and I currently do not get my days.
