Apple Choco Porridge

Ingredients (for 2 pers.):
1 apple
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 vanilla pod
1 cup almond milk
1/2 cup oats
1 heaped tbsp cocoa
1 tbsp regional honey
1 hand full of blueberries
for decoration:: "Alles Liebe"- spice mix from Sonnentor
Preparation:
  1. Wash the apple and cut into very small pieces. Heat in a pot with cinnamon and 3 tablespoons of almond milk. The apple pieces should become a little soft.
  2. Add the oat flakes, the pulp of the vanilla pod, the remaining almond milk and cocoa. Bring to the boil and stir continuously for 3 minutes at low heat. 
  3. Divide the porridge into two bowls and garnish with blueberries and honey.
  4. Bon Epi-tit <3
NICE TO KNOW:
Honey should not be heated, otherwise important nutrients will be lost. The best way to see the good quality of a honey is to crystallize it after a while (liquid honey becomes hard on the glass bottom). Mixtures from EU and non-EU countries are usually adulterated with sugar. The advantage of regional honey is not only the good quality, but the antibodies contained in the honey help our immune system to fight against the diseases that are common in our region.
