I don't know how many times I've been asked: "Feli, tell me where I can go for a good brunch in Munich?" It took me a long time to write my favourite brunch bars together. They're all different and each of you has different demands. Well then, I'll try my hand at a small list of my favorites. 1. Brenner #chic #families I'm a mommy and that's why I love it there. And here I get to the point: The Sunday brunch at the Brenner has childcare and a small corner where you can let your little ones romp about. An absolute plus point, because with a child brunch is usually hardly possible and almost impossible. Make a reservation & if you're early, ask for a table close to the children's corner. The menu is very large and omelet variations, poached eggs or Eggs Benedict up to desserts like Pancakes & Brioches are really everything your heart desires. Maximilianstraße 15 80539 Munich phone. +49 89 4522880 www.brennergrill.de 2. Aroma Kaffeebar #hip #berlin For the real hipsters among us. The Aroma coffee bar offers great coffee homemade spreads & a lot of breads, eggs & muesli. The small shop with its children's chairs and wooden benches is definitely an alternative. You will probably only notice the difference to Berlin when you look at the price, which is slightly higher. But every Euro is worth it, because the things taste really delicious. If you like you can have a look around in the shop, because there are also small things like toys or useless things to buy. Hip, small & yummy! Pestalozzistraße 24 80469 Munich phone.: 089 26949249 www.aromakaffeebar..com 3. Trachtenvogel #old #hip And here again something for us hipsters. While the Aroma bar is actually a bit of a Berlin blend, the Trachtenvogl is a real Munich primeval stone. The small café also still owns the furniture from back then. Just thrown together & charmingly consumed. The dishes are mega hip and if you want to have lunch, you can do it right away! The Trachtenvogl offers sandwiches & great teas in his small but nice shop. And afterwards, you are directly in the Glockenbach quarter you can have a look at the area with many more cafés & juice shops (yes I really mean juice, haha). REICHENBACHSTR. 47 80469 MUNICH MON-SUN 09:00-22:00 phone: 089/2015160 www.trachtenvogl.de 4. White Rabbits Room #mommies #girls There's two cafes of this one. The smaller little Rabbits room is at Wiener Platz. A very sweet little café, where you can get coffee to go and stay a bit at the Wiener Platz. But the small café is closed on Sundays & so I would like to introduce the White Rabbits Rome near the Rosenheimer Platz. The white-pink café is definitely a girls' café. There are also some little things to buy there, dishes & nice bits and pieces. We women definitely feel very much at home in this café! Of course there is avocado toast, muesli, egg variations & much more. Franziskanerstraße 19 81669 Munich phone.: 089 67971193 www.white-rabbits-room.de 5. Wagners #juice #bowls The Wagners is a new café directly at the Reichenbach bridge in the Glockenbachviertel. The modern café offers juices, smoothies, bowls (yes, even the Acai bowl), salads and healthy desserts such as cakes, spelt croissants or Raw Bites balls. So if you want to be absolutely healthy (or need another nice picture for your Instagram account #breakie #bowl you should eat there). We love the great marble coffee counter! Fraunhoferstraße 43 80469 München Mo-Fr 8.30-6.30 Sa & Su 10.00–5.00 Tel.: 0176 36235039 wagnersjuicery.com 6. LAX Eatary
#avocadobread #pancakes #bloggerplace The small Lax is in the heart of the Maxvorstadt & therefore mostly well visited. Meanwhile the café has mutated into a blogger place. The map is very clear, but everything on the map is really delicious. There are Egg Burritos with Salsa verde & Avocado bread. Also delicious American pancakes (yes, a small mountain full of pancakes) with blueberries and maple syrup. The interior is very spartan, but that's totally ok, because we have suspense on our plates. Neureutherstrasse 1 || Ecke Barer Strasse 80799 Munich Mo closed // Tu - Fr 9.00-4.00 // Sa & Sun 9.30-5.00 no reservation https://www.lax-muc.com 7. Café Jasmin #retro #grannychic The Cafe Jasmin in the university area (Maxvorstadt) has from the classic breakfast to bread with avocado and fried egg also a vegan breakfast menu that can be seen. The cafe is in the retro style of the 60s and has old velvet couches and flower chandeliers in Art Deco style on the wall. Lace curtains and a rich cake selection should not be missing there of course. If you like, you can also sit outside, because the corner café has two sides & if you're lucky, you'll get a sunny spot. Steinheilstraße 20 80333 Munich Mo-Sun 10,oo pm - 1,oo am no reservation https://www.cafe-jasmin.com
