LOW CARB - Weight loss made easy

With a low carb diet, it has been proven that it is not only wonderful to lose weight, but also to increase your mental and physical performance. Once again we have teamed up with the Seeberger Genussmagazin and created some wonderful recipes around the topic LOW CARB. Perhaps you can even remember our "14 days sugar free challenge"  which we have also implemented with the Seeberger products. Of course we are big fans and were all the more happy to realize the new project with Seeberger. But now back to the topic LOW CARB!
The low carb diet does not only affect the visible subcutaneous fat tissue, but also the visceral fat, which is deposited in the stomach and thus around our internal organs. Likewise, the reduction of carbohydrates in food can lower the triglyceride levels in the blood and thus protect against cardiovascular diseases (such as heart attacks). Triglycerides are fat molecules that greatly increase the risk of a heart attack. Potatoes, cereals, corn and the products made from them such as pasta, wraps, baked goods and pizza dough as well as sugar in its free form are completely taboo. The products we use are low starch vegetables, salads, nuts, fresh fruits (no dried fruits), eggs, fish and meat (please from organic free-range farming due to hormone and antibiotic residues), as well as dairy products (of course also their vegan varieties, we do not recommend cow's milk products, but sheep and goat from organic farming or coconut, almond or cashew yoghurt without added sugar). The aim is to consume only approx. 150 g carbohydrates per day, valuable proteins and fats are now available for saturation and for the nutrient requirement.

FORMS OF LOW CARB FOOD

When you surf the net you will come across other forms of low carb nutrition. These are the three best known forms:

0-50gr carbs per day: ketogenic nutrition
50-100gr
carbs per day: strict Low-Carb-nutrition
100-150gr
carbs per day: moderate Low-Carb-nutrition

Anyone who knows Epi-Food knows that we are not interested in a quick success, but in a long-term healthy change of diet, which results in the loss of unnecessary (!) pounds as well as increased performance. To feel good all around and to identify with a nutrition concept is our first priority. Therefore we give you our instruction of the low carb "Diet" / Nutrition and would like to sensitize you which foods will positively influence and accelerate your success, which should be constantly in line with your fitness.

HOW IMPORTANT IS SPORTS?

Here's your best question: Do you want to lose weight with the low carb diet? Then sport - after nutrition - is directly in second place and helps you to speed up your success. It is of course no secret that nutrition in combination with sport and exercise has a positive effect on our health. In our booklet "7 Days Fatburn Challenge", we recommend two workouts (cardio & strength) as well as other sporting activities such as swimming, running or yoga. Basically applies here: Choose the sport that is easiest for you, fun and fits into your everyday life. This is the only way it can become a routine in the long run. To "switch off one's head" also during the sport, that is to say to let go of a stressful everyday life, personal differences with friends or family or a rigid success. Our head also plays an important role in losing weight, which is why relaxation is so important. Sports that not only challenge you physically, but also relax will be the healthiest choice for you in the long run. Switching our vegetative nervous system can be extremely important for our metabolism. While in an active state - sympathetic nervous system - we achieve mental and physical peak performance (our body releases among other things adrenaline), our parasympathetic nervous system - which is activated during relaxation, e.g. also during sleep - takes care of our digestion and metabolism & hormone processes. Body brushes, fascia rolls and massages can also be part of fitness, because they can "decelerate" our lymph and make it easier for our body to absorb nutrients and improve the body's own cleansing. With this paragraph you can see that we attach great importance to your balance, both in everyday life as well as in your fitness and finally in your well-being.

LOW CARB FOREVER?

Here we clearly position ourselves for NO. Although we have to say with the background of epigenetic nutrition that it is always to be considered individually and there are certainly people for whose body it is more tolerable to eat permanently low carb. So why do we say NO? With our concept Epi-Food - epigenetic nutrition without wheat, sugar and cow's milk - we have already primarily defined our perfect long-term nutrition and exclude unlucky potatoes (because super easily digestible, regionally sustainable and long-lasting), cereals (valuable spelt flour as well as oat flakes from biologically sustainable cultivation is high in fibre and contains important nutrients) as well as starchy vegetables. However, we have tested the low carb diet as an extremely effective slimming principle and would like to support you with these recipes to maintain a perfect nutrient balance even during a diet, to lose unnecessary (!) pounds and above all to have fun with it.

WHAT DIFFERENCE WILL I FEEL?

You will feel lighter, more motivated and fitter. Especially after lunch we often fall into the so-called midday low. When we think of the lunch menu, we quickly become aware of the cause. Mostly there are pizzas, pasta & co., foods that are full of carbohydrates. Instead, in the future you will prefer to eat a large salad, lots of vegetables and high-quality fats such as avocado, eggs, fish, meat, nuts & seeds. If you can't do without a slice of bread at the beginning, then reduce your carbohydrate intake sustainably. As soon as you feel the difference between your mental performance and physical condition, you will automatically reduce your carbohydrate intake at some point.
